I've compiled a non-exhaustive list of resources for people seeking guidance on supporting their young trans, nonbinary, and gender-expansive/exploring children and other loved ones.
Please share other resources you know about! I’ll update the list.
Although many trans folx (including me) have been hurt by religion and religious institutions, I list affirming faith-based resources. I hope this is helpful to religious families or people with relatives who use religion to justify bigotry.
Resources marked with * are not youth/family-specific.
I don’t operate any of these, so if a link is broken, gone, or taken over by haters, please let me know! I’ve checked them as I wrote (Feb 12, 2025).

Awesome list, thank you!! Just bought the book "My child is trans: Now what?" I have no plans to parent, but have several nephews and nieces and want to prep well for whatever potential future discussions we could have. 💕
This is an AMAZING list! Thank you! I want to add a couple faith-based resources. I am an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ, which is a progressive Christian has always been on the leading edge of queer and trans protections and liberation. Here’s the denominational homepage with lots of resources:
